"Casa Gecko" is a little home away from home in the sun. It's located on a small resort complex with 3 swimming pools (1 indoor) just a few kilometers from Marbella and close to the small harbour of Cabopino.

One of the main features Casa Gecko offers is the outdoor space! With 3 outdoor terraces, you can enjoy sunshine or shade all day long. The large front terrace is gated and secure whilst the master bedroom upstairs enjoys the full sunshine all afternoon, right through to sunset. It's lovely and private and a real suntrap for the sun worshippers. There is another ground level terrace on the pool side with access directly from the kitchen, which enjoys morning sunshine and so is a lovely place to have your first coffee of the day! From that terrace it's just a short walk over the lawn to the pool.

The owners have fitted a modern open plan kitchen diner, which is all new and fully refitted in 2016. As they tend not to do much cooking when they visit, the kitchen is functional rather than being a chef's paradise but we have all the necessities such as kettle, toaster, microwave oven/grill, pots and pans, utensils and a halogen hob if you do fancy cooking! The fridge is probably the most important feature you'll want and it's brand new in late 2016, with a decent freezer compartment for all your ice cubes and ice creams!

The living room is equipped with a 42 inch wall mounted TV, Bluetooth enabled stereo system, air conditioning (hot & cold) and a large double sofa bed. Internet access is supplied from the hotel resort and speeds are adequate (but not spectacular). You can connect up to 3 devices simultaneously and use of the wifi is included in your rental of Casa Gecko.

The master bedroom is upstairs and has it's own private sun terrace with 2 sun loungers, parasol, table and chairs. There is a private luxury bathroom with walk in shower, sink and toilet adjoining the master bedroom. The master bedroom is fitted with a large sliding door wardrobe which offers ample hanging space and room for all your shoes and clothes - no living out of suitcases! There is a small hotel safe (security deposit box) in the house for your valuables. You can set your own pin number to access the safe. There is a wall mounted TV and independent air conditioning (hot & cold) in the master bedroom too.

The 2nd bedroom downstairs is small, but does have a standard size double bed, bedside tables and some limited hanging space. It has it's own own private en-suite bathroom with a luxury shower, toilet and sink.

Guest Access & Facilities:

You'll have the enjoyment of the whole house and it's entirely your own private space, but you will also have the convenience to use all of the hotel resort facilities. The resort has 2 restaurants which you can enjoy for various dining packages. When you speak to reception they will tell you the different prices for the packages they can offer, but as a guide expect to budget about €15 per person per day. There is also a poolside bar and restaurant which serves all the usual drinks and snacks, but which also serves a good range of food late into the evening.

The house is also located within 10 minute walk of the beautiful beaches in the area, which are soft and sandy! 2 minute walk away there is also a large supermarket with all the food & drink items you would require, open 365 days per year! The transport bus route is also situated 5 minute walk away, with buses running regularly and daily between Marbella itself and other towns such as Sitio de Calahonda, la Cala de Mijas and Fuengirola.

Casa Gecko is available to rent for short term stays (minimum 5 nights) year round, but also available for discounted monthly rates in the Winter off peak periods, between November and March each year. Enquire today!
